My name is John Cremeans…
Some know me as John Gilbert Cremeans III. Even though my name ends in the 3rd I am actually the documented 13th or maybe more, if you go back to County Cork, Ireland where the first John Cremeans began his journey to a brave new world. John began his journey as an Indentured Servant and arrived in America, on the Ship Crown Maligo, October 1677. Listed as John Crimine he would then have to serve the usual 6 to 7 years indenture to pay for his passage.
My Journey may not be as adventurous as setting sail to a new land, but my time on this earth has been one of unique adventures, funny observations and curious investigation. Some of you may know me from inviting me in to your homes as a National Television Host on HSN. Other’s will know me as friend. In this journal, ‘One American’s Journey’, I will attempt to tell you about my past, my present and my future. I’ve written a lot in the past under various pen-names but always felt that my words and observations would be detrimental to my career. There are a lot of liberal thinkers in the broadcast industry, especially in the company I worked for, and many of them spewed such hatred toward Republicans and Conservatives that I always treaded lightly. During the election of 2000 many of them showed their true colors in ways that would shock any normal American.
I will tell you now…I belong to no political party! The last two years of President Bush’s term and the current Democrat controlled government have shown me that we can not trust the current two party system to stand up for the ordinary citizen.
Washington, and the ruling elite, need to change. It is time to make a stand Americans!
We are living in extraordinary times, and our responsibilities to future generations are great! If we fail…if we don’t stand up to the great challenges ahead we will be responsible for the restrictions on our freedoms and the destruction of our nation. I realize that sounds dire, but the problems that we face, both financial and governmental, need to be addressed soon. Our future needs to be looked at by people that truly care about the United States and put the nation above their own interests.
I’m looking for true American Patriots! Come take my journey…
